Have you ever wondered about the history of Great Linford Manor Park? Join us on one of our monthly guided walks to discover the historic features of this ancient site.

Great Linford Manor Park is unique to Milton Keynes. The history can be traced back to at least the early Medieval period and may of the park's features date from the 18th century when it was laid out as the English Landscape Garden to accompany the Manor. Many of the features of the park are hidden gems, little known to visitors, such as the Veteran Lime Tree, the Doric Seat and the Ha-ha. We are currently restoring the park thanks to funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Come along and explore the park with well-informed, local volunteers from the Friends of Great Linford Manor Park.

Due to COVID-19 booking is essential for this event. Guided walks are usually held on the last Sunday of every month at 2pm and the second Friday of the month at 10:30am.

Great Linford Manor Park is a special, heritage-rich park set within the old village of Great Linford. It contains features that were first laid out centuries ago, including ponds and a Wilderness Garden which represent the English Landscape style of garden design that became popular for country estates during the 18th Century.
