Discovery Stroll: Magna Park
Broughton Brook Magna Park
Tuesday 19 NovemberThis event is in the past. This page is for information purposes only.
Join us on a short, guided walk at Broughton Brook: Magna Park on Tuesday 19th November from 2pm as part of our Discovery Strolls Programme. Our walk leader will show you some of the interesting features of one of our newest areas of parkland, and hopefully some of its unique wildlife.
Discovery Strolls are designed to give you an introduction to the park and the confidence to explore the local area, interesting points on the route and to find out what facilities are available on site. A member of The Parks Trust team will lead the walk and answer any questions you may have. The walk is at a gentle pace and will allow time for informal chat and any questions you might have.
The car park at Fen Street on Magna Park is the closest car park and drop-off point.

The car park is extremely small and has a height barrier so please allow time to arrive, and park considerately. Please aim to arrive shortly before the scheduled time as we will set off at 2pm.
The event duration is approximately 1 hour-1.5 hours. On this walk we will stick to leisure routes on gravel paths, some of which may be slightly uneven. Our guide will ensure that the route is as accessible as possible.
Some of the walking surfaces may be slightly uneven, so please come with sturdy footwear and dressed appropriately for the weather.
There are no public toilet facilities at this location.
Please get in touch on events@theparkstrust.com if you require any accessibility support or to request a hearing loop.
All ages are welcome but children must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs unfortunately are unable to join these walks with the exception of assistance dogs.
