Walking Festival: Women's Walking Network

Thursday 09 May
10-12pm
Free
Adults Only

Why not try out this extra version of the Women’s Walking Network – as part of the Walking Festival 2024 our brilliant team of walk leaders are pleased to add in a special edition!

Starting from Caldecotte Brook this route will take you through this lesser-known park, Browns Wood and the surrounding area. Guided by one of our welcoming volunteer walk leaders on Thursday 9th May at 10am.

Make sure to come dressed appropriately for the weather with sturdy footwear. We would also advise you to bring something to drink.

The Women’s Walking Network is a great way to discover the hidden gems of Milton Keynes while encouraging women to come together and make new friends! Normally held on the first Thursday of every month, we visit a different park each month to give everyone the chance to explore all the green spaces we care for. Each walk varies in distance but are usually around 4 miles in length and cover a variety of footpaths including steps and slopes on occasion.

Please note that this walk and the regular season of Women’s Walking Network are walked at quite a brisk pace, so if you’re looking for something gentler as part of the Festival of Walking please check out the other options.
