Explore Shenley Wood in a new way - engaging your senses to heighten your awareness of the natural world. We are championing ‘more green and less screen time’, providing a session of interactive activities designed to engage and wow your senses.

Take some time to discover and reconnect with the natural world that surrounds us, challenging yourself to touch, see, listen and smell everything within the ancient woodland. This session on Thursday 16th May and is specifically designed for families to provide time to both engage and relax and will involve a short walk and a few relaxing activities.

Shenley Wood has a mixture of hard path and muddy trails with tree roots and bumpy ground in places. There are no toilets or refreshments available at this site. Please get in touch on if you require any accessibility support or to request a hearing loop.    This event is part of our outdoor learning programme which is designed to help people learn more about their local parks and natural environment.
