Women's Walking Network: Floodplain Forest Nature Reserve

Floodplain Forest Nature Reserve

Thursday 06 June

Come and join us at Floodplain Forest Nature Reserve for our June Women’s Walking Network. Guided by one of our welcoming walk leaders, this walk explores the reserve and takes you on a journey through the area including the Grand Union Canal on Thursday 6th June at 10am.

Make sure to come dressed appropriately for the weather with sturdy footwear. We would also advise you to bring something to drink.

The Women’s Walking Network is a great way to discover the hidden gems of Milton Keynes while encouraging women to come together and make new friends! Held on the first Thursday of every month, we visit a different park each month to give everyone the chance to explore all the green spaces we care for. Each walk varies in distance but are usually around 4 miles in length and cover a variety of footpaths including steps and slopes on occasion.

Please note that these walks are run at quite a brisk pace, so if you’re looking for something gentler, then we would recommend trying out an MK Health Walk or one of our Discovery Strolls.

Meeting location: Manor Farm Court Car Park, Old Wolverton Road
