Come along and join us on this Bat Walk at Walton Lake at 7:30pm on Friday 26th April to help us celebrate the recent Bat Appreciation Day! Discover more about these fascinating animals from our guide, who will help you spot them in flight.

These events can be very popular so pre-booking is essential. All attendees require a ticket and children must be accompanied by an adult. Please come appropriately dressed for the weather, remembering the temperature will drop after sunset.

Please be aware there will be very little to no lighting on the route and some routes will be a mixture of hard and soft paths. If you have concerns about access and mobility on this walk, please get in touch to discuss prior to booking as we may be able to consider this when planning the route.

A portable hearing loop is also available on request by emailing events@theparkstrust.com.  Sorry but dogs are not welcome on these walks (with the exception of assistance dogs)

It is the combination of habitats that makes Walton Lake so rich in wildlife. Surrounding the reedbed are ponds and open water, ancient hedgerows and hay meadow, plus the River Ouzel runs nearby.
