Join us for our final Community Litter Pick of 2024 at Walton Lake Tuesday 3rd December, this is a great way to get outdoors, explore the Ouzel Valley, and help your local environment.

This litter pick will be led by a member of staff who will provide all equipment and take the litter away for disposal. The pick will start at 10am and last about 1 hour. Please come appropriately dressed for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.

There are no public toilets or café onsite.

No booking is required but please arrive in time to hear the safety briefing and collect equipment. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

    It is the combination of habitats that makes Walton Lake so rich in wildlife. Surrounding the reedbed are ponds and open water, ancient hedgerows and hay meadow, plus the River Ouzel runs nearby.
