Women's Walking Network: Caldecotte Lake

Caldecotte Lake

Thursday 07 November
10-12pm
Free
Adults Only

Come and join us at Caldecotte Lake for our November Women’s Walking Network. Guided by one of our welcoming walk leaders, this walk explores the North lake, the surrounding villages that pre-date Milton Keynes, and the history of Walton Park on Thursday 3rd October at 10am.

As the seasons continue to change please make sure to come dressed appropriately for the weather, with sturdy footwear. We would also advise you to bring something to drink.

The Women’s Walking Network is a great way to discover the hidden gems of Milton Keynes while encouraging women to come together and make new friends! Held on the first Thursday of every month, we visit a different park each month to give everyone the chance to explore all the green spaces we care for. Each walk varies in distance but are usually around 4 miles in length and covers a variety of footpaths including steps and slopes on occasion.

Please note that these walks are run at quite a brisk pace, so if you’re looking for something gentler, then we would recommend trying out an MK Health Walk or one of our Discovery Strolls.

Meeting location: Caldecotte Windmill Car Park, Lakeside Grove
