Join us on Saturday 19th October from 11am – 3pm at Woughton on the Green Community Orchard, what3words///fees.belong.bolt, for a fun filled afternoon discovering the wonderful world of orchards and their bounty.
Explore the heritage with the Old Woughton Parish Council and learn how they benefit local people and wildlife. Discover the orchard and its diverse apple varieties with the Mid Shires Orchard Group on an immersive Cider Orchard tour.
Enjoy food, live music, and support local charities and businesses. Check out “From Garden to Jar” for delicious homemade jams and chutneys.
Engage in themed crafts with our Outdoor Learning Team, fire apples from our catapult, participate in bird ringing (weather dependent), and create willow art with a professional.
Don’t miss face painting and captivating stories from our storyteller. Stay refreshed by making your own juice with the Woughton Community Council’s apple pressing equipment.
Plus, visit our bee display stall and purchase locally sourced honey from our volunteers.
The event is designed for all ages. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Attendees are encouraged to park at the Woughton on the Green sports Pavilion car park: what3words /// goat.bind.these and follow the signs to the event space. Parking on Newport Road is strictly for residents only.
Facilities: Toilets and refreshments will be available on site. Please note, some ground may be uneven or muddy. There are places to sit and rest throughout the site.
