Walking Festival: Breeze Ride

Ouzel Valley Park

Saturday 11 May

As part of the Walking Festival 2024 we're delighted to have partnered with Milton Keynes Breeze Network. Breeze is the biggest programme ever to get more women into riding bikes for fun, and the Milton Keynes Network is a brilliant way to build fitness, friendships, skills and have fun!

Breeze Rides welcome all adult women (16+), who like to ride their bikes. The rides are at a gentle pace, designed to see the sights along the way and enjoy the green spaces. No one ever gets left behind!

The ride is free but must be booked via the Let's Ride website.

Meeting at: Cricket Green Car park in Woolstone

W3W: printing.competent.presumes

The route will follow the Grand Union Canal to Woughton on the Green, before heading down to Caldecotte Lake, cycling around the lake and return via the beautiful Ouzel Valley to Willen Lake. We will cycle around Willen Lake before making our way back to Woolstone. This is a very pretty and scenic route through Milton Keynes green spaces.

The ride is suitable for all women who cycle, and for any type of bike. Breeze ask all riders to wear a cycle helmet though. Please dress for the conditions on the day, and also bring water.

Breeze rides stop at points on the ride to take a breather, take photos and have a drink.

There are toilets on route at Willen Lake if required.

Please get in touch with the Breeze Group if you have any questions. If you'd like to find out about other rides they offer you can join their mailing list.

Spaces are limited on this ride so if you are no longer able to attend please let them know.
