Discovery Stroll: Lodge Lake
Lodge Lake
Tuesday 17 DecemberJoin us for our final Discovery Stroll of 2024 at Lodge Lake on Tuesday 17th December from 2pm as part of our Discovery Strolls Programme. Our guide will take you on a short guided walk and show you some of the interesting features of the lake and the surrounding area.
Discovery Strolls are designed to give you an introduction to the park and the confidence to explore the local area, interesting points on the route and to find out what facilities are available on site. A member of The Parks Trust team will lead the walk and answer any questions you may have. The walk is at a gentle pace and will allow time for informal chat and any questions you might have.
The car park at Bradwell Road on Great Holm is the closest car park and drop-off point.

The car park is reasonably small so please allow time to arrive, and park considerately. Please aim to arrive shortly before the scheduled time as we will set off at 2pm.
The event duration is approximately 1 hour-1.5 hours. On this walk we will stick to leisure routes on gravel paths, some of which may be slightly uneven. Our guide will ensure that the route is as accessible as possible.
Some of the walking surfaces may be slightly uneven, so please come with sturdy footwear and dressed appropriately for the weather.
There are no public toilet facilities at this location.
Please get in touch on events@theparkstrust.com if you require any accessibility support or to request a hearing loop.
All ages are welcome but children must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs unfortunately are unable to join these walks with the exception of assistance dogs.
No booking is required for this event. We hope to see you there!
