Come to Howe Park Wood during the Easter Holidays for one of our exciting Open Mornings.

Learn all about Reptiles, Amphibians and the natural world in Milton Keynes by exploring nests, skulls, feathers and more that have been collected from local parks. There are also nature-themed challenges, self-guided trails and friendly volunteers to help you get the most from your visit. This week, there is a bookable craft activity, which can be found here.

Howe Park Wood provides a safe home to many endangered animal and plant species. This very special park has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest for its wildlife value by Natural England.

The Parks Trust manages an Education Centre inside Howe Park Wood that is only open to the public on selected dates throughout the year. Open Mornings are a great chance to see inside the Centre and take part in family-friendly activities suited to all ages.

Open Mornings are completely free for everyone and no booking is required to attend. Simply drop-in anytime between 9:30am-12:30pm on Tuesday 9th and Thursday 11th of April.

There is free parking available on site, public toilets and Grounds Cafe for refreshments. There are both hard surface footpaths suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs and grass and woodchip paths deeper into the wood.
