Water Painting
Water painting is always a huge hit at Tree Tots! It keeps the little ones entertained for ages, whilst developing creativity and dexterity. It’s an activity that works just in all weather. This can be done in the garden or in a nearby green space with only a few items.
What you will need:
- Large paintbrush
- Small tub of water (If transporting to a park, it’s best to leave the tub empty and fill up on arrival with a packed water bottle)
How to:
Encourage your toddler to dip the paintbrush into the tub of water to “paint” designs on trees or even fence posts! Bring an extra paintbrush for yourself and try painting different shapes, letters, numbers, and animals for your child to guess.
