Frog Band
Frog Band by Emmanuel Changunda and Obediar Madziva (2013)
Donated from their original home of InteractionMK, the Frog Band now calls the ponds at Howe Park Wood home and consists of four individual band members; a singer, guitarist, one playing maracas and a drummer. One member went missing in December 2015, but fortunately the local community crowdfunded monies to get the band back together. A new band member was purchased in the summer of 2016.
Emmanuel Changunda is a sculptor who worked as an artist in residence in Milton Keynes in 2013-2014 and working with Obediar Madziva created the Frog Band as part of that residence. Obediar Madziva makes and sculpts creations from recycled materials often taking reference from animals and the natural world with creations ranging from insects to baby giraffes!
The Frog Band can be found by the ponds near the Education Centre and Cafe at Howe Park Wood. What3words ///worlds.creatures.choice
