Everyone is welcome to service to the Milton Keynes Rose for International Day of Peace on Saturday 21 September at 10am.

The service will begin with placing of Ukrainian Crown of Flowers followed by singing from the One Voice Choir.  The service will then have readings followed by the opportunity to add a message of peace and hope to the International Day of Peace pillar.

Parking: The nearest parking is available at centre:mk car parks (John Lewis end) and follow the Redway bridge into the park.

Facilities: There are no toilet facilities at the Milton Keynes Rose, the nearest facilities can be found at MK Gallery where there is a changing places toilet and centre:mk for further public toilets.

The Milton Keynes Rose has a flat granite surface with a metal rill around the outside and step-free access is from the Redway bridge linking Central Milton Keynes to Campbell Park. Accessible parking is available outside MK Gallery and centre:mk multi-storey and follow the path with a gentle sloop towards the footbridge. Route to the Rose is approximately 400 meters from centre:mk on hard paths.

The Milton Keynes Rose was designed by internationally renowned artist Gordon Young and is a vast and impressive open-air circle with markings based on the mathematical beauty of a flower. 106 granite pillars of varying heights emerge from the surface, many of which are inscribed with dates of events that have local, national, or international significance.
