parkrun is a free weekly event, and is a global phenomenon with millions of registered participants who are encouraged to walk, jog or run their local event. With over 1000 events in the UK, we're fortunate to have some in MK that highlight how varied and beautiful the city is.

junior parkrun is the 2km event aimed at young people aged 4-14 and takes place across the UK too. The Milton Keynes version is based at MKRUFC in Emerson Valley and occurs on a Sunday morning at 9am.

Follow the links below for more information about Milton Keynes' parkrun routes:

Willen Lake parkrun - this event takes place in and around the Willen Lake area. It's typical the busiest event, and takes in the sights of the Newlands Remembrance Walk, Canal Broadwalk, Peace Pagoda, Willen Lake North, and Willen Lake South. Finishing at the watersports centre and cafe.

Linford Wood parkrun - this event takes place start and finishes in Linford Wood, and takes you around the Redways of the surrounding area including Conniburrown, Bradwell Common, and Heelands. Bringing you back into the wood for the final half.

Bury Field parkrun  is not on Parks Trust land, but takes in the amazing Bury Field in Newport Pagnell. A lovely location with history from the War of the Roses, through to the modern day, and a nice town location for post parkrun refreshments.
