Electra - Community Boat
Milton Keynes' Community Boat
Step aboard Electra for a peaceful and relaxing way to take in Milton Keynes parks along the Grand Union Canal. The boat is fully electric and is fully accessible to the public, making it the perfect community experience! Brought to you by the BMK Waterway Trust, Electra is run by a dedicated team of volunteers.
The boat can take up to 12 guests per trip and includes a disabled access, with a lift and a toilet that takes average sized wheelchairs. The community boat operates out of the Campbell Wharf Marina and offers cruises along the Grand Union Canal north towards Cosgrove, taking in some of our beautiful parks such as Great Linford Manor Park and south towards Waterhall Park and Fenny Stratford.
What does Electra offer?
Electra offers private charter and public themed cruises for up to 12 guests, across Milton Keynes and beyond. Public cruises range from coffee and cake to fish and chips, spotter challenges for the kids, and even walking adventures.
This experience is a great way to discover a different side to Milton Keynes that’s hidden away as you meander through the parklands and we’re thrilled to support them along the way.
