Dog Trainers

The Parks Trust’s property portfolio includes 45 permanent paddocks and five temporary paddocks throughout the city. Located in Woughton on the Green, Bradwell Abbey, Browns Wood, Wymbush and Great Linford, 6 of these paddocks are used to run dog training sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I leave equipment in the paddock?

    We discourage equipment from being left in the paddock. Any equipment stored in the paddock needs to be kept tidy and at the edge of the paddock when not in use, keeping the overall paddock tidy.

  • Why isn’t there a dog bin on site?

    Dog bins are the responsibility of the local Parish Council and therefore we are unable to provide additional dog bins should they not be present on site already.

    Tenants should check for and remove any dog fouling from the paddock at the end of each session and on a weekly timescale when formal sessions are not taking place.

  • Do we offer topping / grass cutting services?

    Yes - as a perk of using our paddocks, we offer to cut the grass in the paddocks twice a year around June and September. You will be able to express a preference for shorter grass at this time if applicable.

    Please be aware that this grass-cutting is something that needs to fit around our parkland and agricultural operations.

  • I’d like to run an event from the paddock. Can I do this?

    Any events taking place on our land must be given authorisation by us, typically requiring an events license - this includes our dog paddocks.

    Please contact us at ops.support@theparkstrust.com with your request with at least 4 weeks’ notice.

  • Can I put signs up to promote my business?

    Any signs you wish to put up within the paddock must be approved by us to ensure they are appropriate.

    If you would like your business advertised and is not already on this webpage, please send us your business logo, a link to your website and a brief description of the services you provide. We can then review and publish it on our website upon approval.

  • Can I sublet the paddock to other dog training and/or dog walking businesses?

    No - any use of the paddocks should be under your business use only and not sublet to other businesses.
