Cycling
Cycling in Milton Keynes is a real highlight. With Redways, Leisure routes, and part of the National Cycle Network you can ride from everywhere and take in a short journey with the family, or go for a longer ride on paths or trails.
There are routes that suit transport journeys, leisure and more sporty options, you can mountain bike on challenging trails or take the family to explore the beautiful lakes and parkland.
If you're looking for something to do in the parks why not have a go on the Off-road Cycle Trail at Campbell Park, or our Milton Keynes 30 Mile Challenge Cycle
Two National Cycle Network routes pass through the city, connecting you to other parts of the region. NCN6 runs North / South and links to Northampton and Luton, and NCN51 runs East / West and links to Bedford and Buckingham.
Within MK there are 273km of Redways, a network of maintained paths that cross the city and allow you to ride safely to the city centre or the outlying villages; they can feel safer for children or novice cyclists. Routes, Maps, Cycle Training and other resources are available on the Get Around MK website.
Milton Keynes is the ideal place to get on your bike. Join one of our organised rides or become a member of a cycling club, or grab a trail map and go it alone!
