Bowls
Bowls, also referred to as lawn bowls is a precision activity where players roll biased balls with the aim of stopping them as close as possible to a small balled called the ‘jack’. Played on level manicured green, the sport of bowls requires skilful judgement and control. Enjoyed around the world by people of all ages bowls benefits players with gentle physical activity and tactical challenge, bowls makes for both a leisurely pastime and competitive pursuit.
In Milton Keynes Wolverton Park Bowls Club - the oldest bowls club in Buckinghamshire, recently opened their new clubhouse and green at Wolverton Park. They are open through the winter three nights a week, catering for shortmat bowls and other social events. The club have coaches to teach new members with a new player introductory offer.
