12 Days of Christmas Family Trail

Any time during daylight hours
Suitable for ages 3+

This event is in the past. This page is for information purposes only.

Three French hens, two turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree!

Naughty Christmas elves have taken the gifts from the traditional carol ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’ and hidden them behind their doors among the trees in the park. Can you help save Christmas and find them all?

On this self-guided trail, you will explore the park, find the doors and reveal all the gifts from 'The Twelve Days of Christmas'. The trail will take around 1 hour to complete and is suitable for families with children aged 3+.

  • Sensible, hard-wearing footwear and outdoor clothing is advised.
  • The park may be muddy.
  • This activity will be available in the park during daylight hours. Please leave the doors and 'gifts' as you find them for other visitors to enjoy.
  • Doors are located in the arboretum area of the park. A helpful map is below.

The trail is located on grass which can be muddy when wet. It is located a short walk from the car park, across grass.

No toilet facilities are available in the park until after the 4th January, when Milton Keynes Arts Centre reopens.

Free parking is available at Great Linford Memorial Hall, Marsh Drive what3words.com/deflation.protest.hippy.

We would love to see pictures of your adventures while searching for them (Christmas jumpers and Santa hats encouraged!) so please share with us on Facebook @TheParksTrust.

Covid-19 precautions

Although doors will be left open, we recommend you sanitise your child's hands between each door and when you get home to help prevent the spread of Covid-19.
