New tree labels have landed at Great Linford Manor Park
We're excited to announce that the first tree labels have been installed in the arboretum at Great Linford Manor Park! The rustic labels show the trees common and Latin names.
Each label is suspended from a tree branch, allowing the tree to grow freely. They are very sturdy and we hope they will come to be well-loved by visitors to the park. Some labels are quite obvious on large branches, but others are tucked inside the tree canopy whilst the tree is in full leaf. Hunting for the labels can be a fun activity for parents and children alike!
The arboretum is home to many exotic tree species which aren't found elsewhere in the city. Some fine examples include the Tulip Tree and the Foxglove Tree, both of which grow beautiful and large flowers in the spring and summertime.

If there's a tree without a label, rest assured it will soon have one. We are continually adding new labels to the trees.
